In most cases your local community college will be able to answer that question. The reason for this is that every state has it’s own guidelines to be certified.

unfortunately it is not regulated by govenment. there are certification programs through places like the ymca and Can fit pro (check on-line for one in your area). most respectable gyms will only allow certified instructors but not all. for liability reasons… do your homework and get a excellent grade to have a long career with it. excellent teachers r hard to find.
